As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and reports.
  • Support a professional, orderly environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
