As a Security Officer Patrol Screening in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and high-traffic locations, assisting with access control practices, directional support, and crowd management during routine operations and elevated activity periods.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and/or public agency personnel regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and other security-related matters observed during patrols.
