About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Rover in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support personnel and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and support access control activities for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site policies.
• Observe operations within an industrial chemical and petrochemical environment, communicate concerns involving restricted areas, equipment, and/or site rules, and follow post orders for escalations and notifications.
