Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or mobile patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access credentials as directed by site policies, and support visitor processing and/or employee screening procedures.
• Support daily operations by communicating with staff, assisting with directions and information, and completing required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation.
