About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, storage, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and support the screening of deliveries, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with location procedures.
• Assist with alarm response, foot patrols, and routine inspections of doors, gates, and/or exterior areas while maintaining detailed activity logs and incident reports.
