As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to residents and guests. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, which is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, amenity areas, and community spaces to help support property rules, address questions, and/or assist with visitor and resident interactions.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or property representatives, and help support continuity between shifts.
