About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Saint Petersburg, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers, verifying credentials, following site access protocols, and reporting exceptions or suspicious activity.
• Support operations at a busy logistics and distribution location by observing movement of people, vehicles, and/or freight, assisting with traffic flow, and communicating security-related concerns in a professional manner.
