Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential care location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values innovation and integrity every day.

Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site leadership when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access to the location and document daily activities, unusual occurrences, and/or policy-related issues while maintaining a professional presence.
