About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic utility location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting and reporting observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry of employees, contractors, and/or visitors in accordance with location protocols and posted requirements.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and/or assisting with traffic and pedestrian flow as needed.
