As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public officials as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to help support daily location operations.
  • Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and noteworthy conditions, and assist with directional support for visitors, employees, and/or members of the public.
