Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness across the site. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials and/or visitor logs, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and other security-related observations to site leadership.
  • Support truck traffic and employee movement by helping with direction, traffic control, and orderly access during shift changes, deliveries, and other busy periods.
