As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts when appropriate, and support a professional environment for patients, guests, and healthcare personnel.
  • Communicate with staff and supervisors regarding incidents, policy concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues that could impact daily operations at the location.
