As a Security Officer Patrol Response Team in Herndon, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel environment.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe guest and visitor activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support hospitality operations by providing directions, assisting with crowd flow during busy periods or special events, and addressing routine questions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
