About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying access permissions and reporting access-related issues or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contact.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering basic questions, and communicating clearly with site personnel, visitors, and/or first responders during routine and urgent situations.
