About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response Agent in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting security-related activity as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing directions and reporting concerns to property management and/or emergency contacts.
• Support day-to-day operations at a commercial real estate location by maintaining a visible presence, completing routine reports, and communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and Allied Universal leadership.
