Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and sharing details with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and assist with security-related presence during busy periods, opening and closing routines, and/or special events at the location.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate site representative.
