About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Patrol Security Observer in Boston, Massachusetts, supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides customer service. The role includes communicating professionally with residents, visitors, and team members while helping maintain a welcoming environment. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $22.15 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, amenities, parking areas, building entrances, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific policies, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally using a problem-solving approach.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
