About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic government and aerospace defense location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government and/or aerospace defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information according to site protocols, and report concerns through established channels.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and communicating status updates related to security-related matters and/or site procedures.
