As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, laboratories, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation; communicate observations and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
