About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Government Site in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, document observations, respond to incidents, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, facility hazards, and other security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and following established access control and visitor management procedures.
