Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to operate a Segway or T3 is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, following site-specific protocols for entry, departure, and/or restricted areas while supporting daily operations with professionalism.
  • Assist with reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations observed during patrols, helping to support an orderly environment for staff and visitors.
