About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Moreland, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and assist with loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns.
  • Support closing and opening procedures, help with crowd and queue observation during busy periods, and provide guidance to customers and staff during escalations and/or emergency situations.
