As a Security Officer Patrol Lead in Melville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Possess supervisory experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor information, and communicate site rules and directions to employees, guests, and delivery personnel.
• Support daily operations by observing equipment areas, loading and receiving zones, and restricted locations, and reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations.
