As a Security Officer Patrol Guard in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries at access points, following post instructions for visitor processing, credential checks, and/or vehicle screening.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and drivers, assisting with directions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and other property-related concerns.
