As a Security Officer Patrol Guard in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment zones, and material storage locations.
• Support daily operations by observing for hazards, operational disruptions, and/or policy violations, then communicating findings according to post orders and client-directed procedures.
