About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card/license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including interior areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations to help deter security-related incidents.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and promptly communicate findings to designated personnel and/or emergency responders.
