As a Security Officer Patrol Duty in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for security-related concerns, assist with access and crowd flow, and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site procedures.
