Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily site operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle information according to site procedures.
  • Prepare clear reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
