As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Duty in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify potential hazards, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors.
• Observe industrial operations from designated areas and report spills, leaks, equipment concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel while following post orders and assigned response procedures.
