Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor high-traffic areas, support access and loss prevention awareness efforts, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate contact.
• Assist with crowd management, opening and closing activities, and customer assistance requests while maintaining a professional presence throughout varying retail environments and conditions.
