Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driving Role in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative culture. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors and deliveries, and documenting entries according to site requirements.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate status updates and handoffs to incoming personnel using approved channels.
