Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe campus activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support campus operations during special events, after-hours activity, and/or emergency situations by providing visible presence and guidance consistent with Allied Universal standards.
