As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Elizabethtown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, medical situations, and campus-related concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking lots, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe surroundings, and document daily activities, incidents, and policy-related concerns with clear and timely communication.
  • Support campus operations during events, after-hours activity, and/or changing location needs while following Allied Universal and site instructions.
