Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter, as assigned.
• Monitor customer and visitor activity to help identify unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or situations that may require a security-related response.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by documenting observations, completing required reports, and following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
