As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Required in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed residential patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through established channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and/or resident activity, following site procedures for entry, identification, and reporting of suspicious behavior.
  • Support property rules and community expectations by addressing routine concerns, providing directions and assistance, and communicating with residents and/or management regarding security-related issues.
