As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Albertville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control duties, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verify credentials when required, and report unusual conditions, damaged equipment, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
  • Support daily operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, completing incident reports, and following Allied Universal post orders and site-specific policies.
