As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access awareness, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted and public areas, verify visitor and/or vendor access as directed, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations at the location by observing activity, providing directions and assistance, and following post orders related to medical and donor service environments.
