As a Security Officer Badge Patrol Driver in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage site access, and perform routine patrols to help support a secure environment and help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity according to post instructions and site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, entry areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and perimeter as directed by site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic and access flow for employees and authorized visitors, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
