Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout stations, platforms, concourses, waiting areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance, security-related, and/or operational concerns according to site procedures.
  • Support order at the location by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, and providing general information while maintaining a professional presence.
