About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking lots, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and delivery areas, verifying credentials, directing visitor and vendor traffic, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.
- Support daily operations at an industrial location by observing equipment and material movement areas, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
