About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a premier residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to post instructions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, observe community rules and property policies, and help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Support Allied Universal and property management by documenting daily activity, communicating noteworthy updates, and assisting with security-related requests at the location.
