As a Security Officer TWIC Patrol Driver in Lemont, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in required reports.
  • Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding security-related issues, policy questions, and changing conditions that may affect daily operations.
