Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a fast-paced retail distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related matters to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors.
Support loss prevention and inventory protection efforts by observing for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or irregular activity within the retail distribution environment.
