As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related issues according to site procedures.
  • Document daily activities, patrol observations, and incident details in required logs and/or reports, and support investigations involving security-related concerns when requested.
