About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Industrial Park in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading technology campus as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access and visitor protocols, and respond to calls with calm, clear communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and respond to access control alarms and/or unusual conditions; assist with visitor check-in processes and direct individuals to appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation; communicate relevant updates during shift handoffs to support continuity of security-related operations.
