Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Amarillo, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents across yards, docks, and perimeter areas. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer-focused service with integrity and teamwork. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, trailer lots, and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting irregular activity.
• Monitor access points and help manage the flow of employees, visitors, and drivers by verifying identification, logging entries and exits, and directing individuals to designated check-in areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Complete security-related reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
