As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will drive and/or walk routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will support store teams and guests with strong customer service, clear communication, and quick response to incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential hazards, and policy violations, and communicate concerns to store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and support investigations by preserving information and/or observations per site procedures.
