Job Description As a Security Officer Front Office Driver in Woonsocket, RI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, and support staff with clear communication and calm, professional service. You will monitor activity from the reception area, document security-related events, and help coordinate responses to concerns while representing Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Staff the front desk post by greeting and directing visitors, managing sign-in requirements, issuing temporary identification as directed, and notifying appropriate personnel of arrivals.
  • Monitor access points, lobby activity, and security-related systems such as cameras and alarm panels, and report unusual activity per site procedures to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes when appropriate and requesting assistance from Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete reports and logs, document incidents and service requests, and communicate key information during shift handoff to support consistent security-related coverage.
