As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Trainee in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity by verifying credentials, following visitor processing procedures, and reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or restricted area concerns.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports, relaying important information during shift changes, and assisting with site-specific security-related assignments as directed.
