About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Assignment in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with site expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, offices, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access, and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and assist with visitor processing and directions while maintaining professional interactions.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by communicating clearly with site contacts and/or local responders when needed and completing assigned reports related to daily activities and incidents.
